A ritual happens at a particular time and place. It creates a sense of time away from daily concerns and enables you to focus on each other. Create family rituals that are not too stressful or rigid for all of you and can be easily incorporated into your everyday lives. It also allows kids to have lower rates of suicidal thoughts and minimize engagement in high-risk teenage behaviors. As for adults, if you’re looking to live a more active, healthier lifestyle, eating together as a family is deemed helpful in improving diet or physical health. You are less likely to eat sugary beverages or fast food and more likely consume vegetables and fruits.
